Sunseeker Elite X5 Gen 2 – Cordless robotic lawn mower for up to 2000 m². The Sunseeker Elite X5 Gen 2 is a new-generation, fully autonomous robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 2000 m². It operates without a perimeter wire and without the need for an RTK reference antenna installed on your property. The advanced AONavi™ 2.0 navigation system, Network RTK, VSLAM 2.0 visual navigation, and "Vision AI 2.0" obstacle recognition allow the robot to navigate precisely through complex yards, mow the lawn systematically, and work reliably both day and night.
A three-wheel drive system, independent front suspension, and an actively steered rear wheel ensure excellent mobility on slopes, wet grass, and uneven terrain. An additional edge-cutting disc mows the grass at a distance of just about 3 cm from the lawn edge, significantly reducing the areas that require manual trimming after the robot finishes its work.

No perimeter wire or local RTK antenna required. The "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" sets lawn boundaries digitally. There is no need to dig for or pin down a perimeter wire – virtual mowing zones, passageways, and forbidden areas are created in the "Sunseeker" mobile app.
The AONavi™ 2.0 system uses Network RTK positioning, VSLAM 2.0 visual navigation, and an integrated 4G and GPS module. Therefore, the European version does not require a separate RTK reference antenna on your property. The robot's map can be easily adjusted if the positions of flower beds, terraces, trampolines, or other garden objects change.
AONavi™ 2.0 navigation system: AONavi™ 2.0 combines satellite Network RTK positioning and updated VSLAM 2.0 visual navigation. When the satellite signal is blocked by trees, buildings, or in narrow areas of the property, the robot can orient itself using cameras and environmental visual data.
The binocular camera and iToF depth sensor allow the robot to better understand its environment, estimate distances, and maintain a more stable trajectory in areas where the standard GPS signal might be weaker.
Vision AI 2.0 obstacle recognition: The updated "Vision AI 2.0" system detects objects within the lawn area and helps the robot navigate around them safely. During the day, the environment is monitored by binocular cameras, while the iToF sensor is used in lower light conditions.
The system can recognize not only common obstacles on the ground but also suspended objects, such as trampoline or swing structures. As a result, the robot can work reliably during the day, in the evening, and at night.
Powerful 10 TOPS AI processor: The new-generation 10 TOPS chip can perform up to 10 trillion operations per second. Compared to the previous system, its computing power has been increased by approximately two times.
Greater computing power helps the robot react faster to obstacles, control movement more accurately, and calculate mowing routes more efficiently.
Systematic and efficient mowing: Unlike older generation robots that move in random directions, the "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" mows in systematic parallel lines. Intelligent route planning helps avoid unnecessary overlap and reduces the likelihood of missed spots on the lawn.
You can select one or more mowing directions in the app. By changing the mowing angle between cycles, the lawn is mowed more evenly, the formation of permanent wheel ruts is reduced, and a neat striped pattern can be created.
When efficient mowing mode is enabled, the robot can divide the lawn into logical sections and select a more efficient route for each.
Precise lawn edge mowing: The "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" features a main 22 cm cutting disc with 6 free-moving blades and a separate edge-trimming mechanism.
The additional edge-cutting disc is mounted closer to the edge of the robot's body and can cut grass up to approximately 3 cm from the set boundary. This is especially useful near pavers, terraces, paths, and other surfaces that are flush with the lawn.
Several edge maintenance modes are available:
mowing by following a virtual boundary;
driving on a flush edge;
target mowing of a specific area;
additional trimming of areas previously missed due to an obstacle.
Three-wheel AWD system: The "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" is equipped with a three-wheel drive system. Each wheel is controlled independently, allowing the robot to grip the surface better and move more stably on slopes, wet grass, or uneven terrain.
Large, approximately 22 cm diameter off-road style front wheels improve traction and the ability to overcome minor terrain irregularities. The independent front suspension helps absorb shocks, while the actively steered rear wheel allows the robot to turn more smoothly and cause less damage to the lawn surface.
Handles up to 60% slopes: Thanks to its AWD drive and advanced chassis, the "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" can operate on slopes with a gradient of up to 60% or 30°.
This allows the robot to be used not only on completely flat lawns but also in more complex yards with hills, slopes, and uneven surfaces. Actual mobility may depend on soil condition, grass moisture, and the shape of the slope.
Floating cutting disc: The main cutting disc adapts to the unevenness of the lawn surface. This helps maintain a more uniform cutting height on hills, dips, and other more challenging parts of the lawn.
Freely rotating blades cleanly cut the tops of the grass. With frequent and regular mowing, the small grass clippings remain on the lawn and act as natural fertilizer.
Multi-zone management: In the app, you can create several separate mowing zones and apply individual settings to each.
You can set:
virtual lawn boundaries;
separate mowing zones;
passage corridors between zones;
forbidden zones;
mowing schedule;
mowing direction;
mowing angle;
edge mowing;
efficient mowing mode;
the robot's method of returning to the charging station.
Forbidden zones can be used to mark flower beds, ponds, outdoor furniture, children's play areas, lawn areas undergoing temporary repairs, or other objects.
Intelligent return to charging station: You can select different return methods for when the robot is going back to the charging station.
Quick return allows the robot to take a shorter route and reach the station faster.
Return along the edge helps maintain a clearer path.
The intelligent return route can change the robot's path so it does not constantly drive in the same ruts, reducing lawn compaction.
Mobile app control: Using the "Sunseeker Smart" app, you can remotely control the main functions of the robot and monitor its status.
In the app, you can:
create and adjust the lawn map;
set virtual boundaries;
create mowing and forbidden zones;
set mowing schedules;
choose mowing direction;
start or stop the robot;
select the edge-mowing mode;
track the robot's location;
receive alerts;
view maintenance information;
install software updates.
The robot can also be integrated with "Amazon Alexa" and "Google Assistant" smart home systems.
Anti-theft protection: The integrated 4G and GPS module provides additional robot security.
Security features include:
real-time location monitoring;
digital geofencing;
alerts if the robot moves outside the set territory;
protection and tracking when the robot is switched off;
notifications in the mobile app.
According to the manufacturer, an initial "NetRTK" and 4G service period is provided when purchasing the robot. Official European product information currently states 24 months, and after the included period expires, service renewal costs about €49 per year. Subscription terms may vary depending on the country and retailer, so it is recommended to check the terms applicable to the specific package before finalizing the offer.
Automatic rain detection: The integrated rain sensor allows the robot to detect when it starts raining. Depending on your settings, the robot can stop mowing and return to the charging station.
After the set waiting time ends and conditions improve, the robot can continue its scheduled work.
Water-resistant and easy to maintain: The "Sunseeker X5 Gen 2" has an IPX5 water resistance rating, making it suitable for outdoor use and cleanable with a gentle stream of water, following the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
It is recommended to turn the robot over regularly, remove grass accumulated under the cutting disc, check the condition of the blades, and periodically replace them.
Quiet operation: The robot operates at a volume of about 60 dB, so lawn maintenance is less disruptive to residents and neighbors. Quiet operation allows for easier planning of mowing in the early morning, evening, or at any other time convenient for you, in compliance with local noise regulations.
