Fully wireless robotic lawn mowerThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 sets lawn boundaries digitally, so there is no need to lay a perimeter wire around the plot. The lawn map, mowing zones, passage corridors, and prohibited areas are created using the "Sunseeker Smart" mobile app.
Virtual boundaries can be easily changed if the plot layout changes. If you move a flower bed, trampoline, outdoor furniture, or other objects, there is no need to dig up and re-lay wire – simply adjust the map in the app.
The version using network RTK connection does not require a separate RTK base antenna on your property. The robot receives correction data via mobile connection and can determine its location with centimeter precision.
AONavi™ 2.0 navigation systemAONavi™ 2.0 combines satellite and visual navigation. Both technologies complement each other and help the robot maintain an accurate trajectory in difficult parts of the plot.
Network RTK is used for accurate satellite positioning in open areas of the lawn.
VSLAM 2.0 uses camera images, environmental objects, and the robot's movement information. This system helps the robot continue working in areas where the satellite signal is partially blocked.
Binocular cameras and an iToF depth sensor allow the robot to assess the shape, distance, and depth of environmental objects, providing a more accurate understanding of its surroundings.
Vision AI 2.0 obstacle recognitionThe updated Vision AI 2.0 system helps the robot recognize and safely navigate around obstacles in the lawn.
During the day, the environment is monitored by binocular cameras. They allow the robot to determine the shape, size, and distance of objects.
In low-light conditions, the iToF sensor is used, allowing the robot to orient itself and detect obstacles in the evening or at night.
Obstacle recognition helps reduce the risk of collisions, getting stuck, and damaging garden objects.
10 TOPS artificial intelligence processorThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a new generation 10 TOPS artificial intelligence processor. It can perform up to 10 trillion computing operations per second.
This is particularly important in large plots where the robot encounters many different objects and constantly changing working conditions.
Three-wheel AWD drive systemThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 features an advanced three-wheel drive system. Two large front wheels and a rear steered wheel are actively controlled, giving the robot excellent traction and maneuverability.
The movement of each wheel is controlled individually. If the robot begins to slip, the control system can adjust wheel speed to help maintain the intended driving direction.
Overcomes up to 70% inclinesThanks to the powerful AWD drive, the Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 can operate on slopes with a gradient of up to 70% or 35°.
This allows the robot to be used on complex, hilly plots where simpler two-wheel-drive lawn robots might lose traction, slide off the intended route, or fail to climb the incline altogether.
It is recommended to maintain a smooth and firm lawn surface on the steepest areas.
Independent front suspensionBoth front wheels have independent suspension. It allows each wheel to adapt to surface height individually and helps the robot maintain a more stable position when driving over bumps.
It also reduces impact on the cutting mechanism and helps maintain a more even cutting height.
Actively steered rear wheelUnlike a simple free-spinning castor wheel, the X7 Plus Gen 2's rear wheel is powered and actively steered.
During turns, the robot does not need to drag one front wheel across the lawn, resulting in less damage to the grass surface in sensitive areas.
35 cm dual-disc cutting systemThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 features two cutting discs with a total working width of 35 cm.
The wide cutting mechanism allows more grass to be cut in a single pass, enabling faster maintenance of large lawn areas. This is especially important for 3000–6000 m² plots where a narrower robot would require significantly more passes.
The two discs use free-moving blades. Regular mowing clips off only a small part of the grass tip. Small clippings remain on the lawn, decompose quickly, and become natural organic fertilizer.
Floating cutting discsBoth cutting discs can adapt to the lawn surface. As the robot drives over a hill or depression, the floating cutting system follows the terrain's shape.
The floating design is extremely useful on large plots where the surface is not perfectly level.
Electric cutting height adjustmentThe cutting height is adjusted electrically via the "Sunseeker Smart" app. The range is from 20 to 100 mm.
During hot and dry periods, a higher cutting height can be selected so the grass retains moisture better. During periods of intense growth, the height can be gradually reduced.
Target Height ManagementIf the lawn is overgrown, the robot does not need to mow at the lowest setting immediately.
Using the target height management function, the robot can gradually reduce the cutting height over several work cycles.
Once the target height set in the app is reached, the robot continues to maintain the selected lawn level.
Systematic mowing in parallel linesThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 does not operate on a chaotic or random movement principle. The robot analyzes the lawn map, plans the work route, and mows in neat parallel lines.
After completing a work cycle or when the battery is low, the robot returns to the charging station. After charging, it can continue mowing from the point where it stopped.
Mowing in different directionsIn the app, you can select the desired mowing direction or use different angles for different mowing cycles.
Different mowing directions can be selected for separate lawn zones according to their shape and layout.
Automatic lawn division into work zonesIn efficient mowing mode, the robot can analyze the shape of the lawn and divide it into logical work sections.
An appropriate mowing route is calculated for each part. This reduces the number of unnecessary turns and empty passes.
Multi-zone lawn managementMultiple separate mowing zones can be created in the app and connected by virtual passage corridors.
This allows, for example, more frequent mowing of the main display lawn and less frequent maintenance of a less-used part of the plot.
Up to 15 start or work pointsThe X7 Plus Gen 2 can use up to 15 set start or work points.
This helps distribute the robot's work more evenly across a very large or multi-part territory. Instead of always starting from the same place, the robot can be directed to different parts of the lawn.
Virtual no-go zonesAreas that the robot must not enter can be marked in the app.
Since the zones are digital, they can be changed, moved, or deleted at any time without physical work.
Targeted spot mowingA specific unmown part of the lawn can be indicated in the app.
After removing an obstacle, the robot can be sent to mow only the selected area. There is no need to restart the entire zone's mowing cycle.
GPS tracking and theft protectionIntegrated GPS and a 4G module provide additional theft protection for the robot.
Security features include:
monitoring the robot's location;
adjustable geofencing safety zone;
alerts when the robot leaves the defined territory;
notifications in the mobile app;
PIN code protection;
location tracking using mobile connectivity.
For the European market, the manufacturer specifies an included nRTK and 4G service period of up to 5 years. After the included period ends, the service extension terms and cost may depend on the country and the manufacturer's plans in effect at that time.
10 Ah battery and 7 A chargerThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 uses an approximately 10 Ah lithium-ion battery.
The X7 Plus version comes with a more powerful, approximately 7 A charger.
Faster charging is especially important when maintaining a large area. With the robot charging faster, downtime between work cycles is reduced, and a larger area can be mowed per day.
Automatic rain detectionAn integrated rain sensor allows the robot to detect when it starts to rain.
IPX5 water resistanceThe Sunseeker X7 Plus Gen 2 has an IPX5 water resistance rating and is adapted for outdoor use.
The robot can be cleaned with a low-pressure water stream, following the manufacturer's maintenance instructions. Do not use high-pressure washing equipment or direct a strong water stream at sensitive connection points.
Regular maintenance of the robot should include:
removing grass accumulated under the cutting discs;
cleaning the wheels;
checking the condition of the blades;
cleaning the cameras and sensors;
checking the charging contacts;
replacing worn blades.
OTA software updatesThe robot's software can be updated remotely using an internet connection.
In most cases, there is no need to visit a service center to update the robot – new software is installed via the mobile app.
