The green area is the lawn to mow. Exclude buildings, paths and flower beds.

Lawn area to mowArea units

Enter only the grass area, excluding buildings, paving and flower beds. 1 are = 100 m².

Not sure of the area? Calculate it from dimensions

Multiply the length of a rectangular lawn by its width. Divide complex lawns into rectangles and add their areas. Exclude buildings, paths and terraces.

What is your garden like?

Slope percentage: a rise of 25 cm over 1 m horizontally = 25%. This is not 25 degrees.

Steepest lawn slopeSlope unitsI do not know the slope

Enter the slope of the steepest area to mow. 10% means a rise of 10 cm over 1 m horizontally; 45% ≈ 24°. The permitted slope near lawn boundaries may be lower.

How do I measure the slope?

Measure the steepest part of the lawn. Divide the height difference by the horizontal distance and multiply by 100. Example: 25 cm over 100 cm = 25%.

Height difference (cm)Horizontal distance (cm)

Are there narrow passages between lawn areas?

Measure the narrowest clear gap the robot must pass through. Kerbs and surfaces also matter.

No narrow passagesYes, I can measure the narrowest pointNot sure / needs checking

Narrowest clear passage (cm)

Measure the clear gap between obstacles, not the width of the robot. The minimum passage depends on the model and surface.

What are the navigation conditions?

Trees and buildings around the lawn Mostly open lawnMost of the lawn has an unobstructed view of the sky. Some trees and buildingsOpen areas alternate with areas shaded by trees or buildings. Dense trees, high walls or an enclosed gardenMuch of the lawn is covered by tree canopies, walls or tall buildings.

Will reliable internet be available throughout the mowing area?

NetRTK needs internet throughout the mowing area: suitable Wi-Fi or a compatible active 4G service.

YesNoNot sure / needs checking

A strong Wi-Fi signal throughout the lawn or an active 4G service compatible with the robot is required. Coverage only at the charging station may not be enough for NetRTK.

Can you install an RTK antenna with a sufficiently clear view of the sky?

Install the local RTK antenna with a clear view of the sky. It is separate from the charging station.

YesNoNot sure / needs checking

What do you need from your robot?

Front and rear lawns may be two zones. The robot can travel between them if they are connected by a suitable passage.

How many separate lawn zones will you maintain?

Can the robot travel between all zones on its own? YesAll lawn areas are linked by passages suitable for the robot. NoThere are steps, closed gates or no connecting passage. Not sure / needs checkingOur specialist can help confirm this.

Steps, locked gates or roads may require carrying the robot or a different installation. Multi-zone support alone does not solve this.

Must the robot collect grass clippings?

Mulching leaves finely cut grass on the lawn. Collection requires a robot with a dedicated container.

No, mulching is suitableYes, collection is essential

Maximum robot budget (€; optional)

Leave blank if there is no budget limit. Accessories, installation and connectivity subscriptions are not included.
