RTK and NetRTK navigationThe "ANTHBOT Genie 800" supports traditional RTK navigation and "NetRTK" technology.
Using the traditional RTK mode, a physical RTK reference antenna is installed on the property, which transmits satellite positioning corrections to the robot.
Using NetRTK, correction data is transmitted to the robot via a 4G mobile connection. Under suitable conditions, you no longer need a physical RTK antenna installed on your property.
NetRTK advantagesNo need to install an RTK antenna on the property
Fewer wires and less installation work
No need to find a location for the antenna with an open view of the sky
Faster robot setup
A neater property appearance
RTK corrections transmitted via mobile internet
More convenient for properties where it is difficult to properly install an antenna
Important: to activate "NetRTK" functionality, you must extend the ANTHBOT 4G data plan for at least one year. An active 4G plan is required to transmit "NetRTK" correction data.
"NetRTK" operation also requires a sufficient mobile signal and service availability in your specific area. After the chosen period expires, the plan will need to be renewed to continue using "NetRTK" and remote 4G functions.
The official ANTHBOT 4G service is compatible with the "Genie 800" and allows you to start, pause, or stop mowing remotely and monitor the robot's status in the app.
Without a perimeter wireThe "Genie 800" operates without a physical perimeter wire. No need to dig up the lawn, pin wire to the ground, or search for cable breaks.
Virtual boundaries are created in the app, making them easy to change if the garden layout changes. After installing a new flower bed, or moving a trampoline, terrace, or outdoor furniture, simply adjust the digital map.
The wireless system allows you to:
prepare the robot for work faster;
easily change lawn boundaries;
create several separate zones;
mark temporary prohibited areas;
avoid perimeter wire faults and repairs.
The manufacturer presents the "Genie" series as a wireless system that automatically detects boundaries and can quickly create a lawn map.
Automatic lawn mappingThe "Genie 800" can automatically detect clear lawn boundaries and create an initial map of the area.
Several mapping methods are available:
Automatic mapping – the robot drives along the detectable lawn edge itself.
Manual mapping – the user controls the robot via the app and drives around the desired boundary.
Combined mode – an automatically created map is further adjusted manually.
This flexibility allows the robot to be adapted to both simple and complex lawn shapes.
Four-camera navigationThe robot's four-camera 3D vision system supplements satellite navigation and helps it understand the environment.
The cameras allow the robot to:
recognize lawn edges;
detect obstacles;
navigate near trees and buildings;
pass through narrower passages;
work under trampolines;
choose a safer path for maneuvering;
continue working if the satellite signal weakens briefly.
The combination of satellite and vision navigation provides more stability on complex properties.
Smart obstacle detectionThe four-camera system gives the robot a wide, approximately 300° field of view. The manufacturer states that the "Genie" vision system can recognize over 1000 common environmental objects.
The robot can detect and navigate around:
people and pets;
toys and balls;
outdoor furniture;
trees and flower pots;
garden tools;
stones;
trampoline legs;
other objects in the lawn.
Vision recognition is supplemented by physical collision protection. If the robot touches an undetected object, it stops and changes direction.
Before mowing, it is still recommended to remove wires, ropes, small toys, and other objects that are difficult to see in tall grass.
Systematic mowingThe "ANTHBOT Genie 800" does not mow the lawn chaotically. Using the digital map, the robot calculates an efficient route and moves in orderly parallel lines.
Systematic mowing helps to:
cover the entire lawn area faster;
reduce overlapping in already mowed areas;
reduce the likelihood of unmowed patches;
use the battery more efficiently;
create a neat lawn pattern;
accurately resume work after charging.
The mowing direction can be changed in the app so that the robot does not always drive in the same tracks.
Up to 20 mowing zonesUp to 20 separate lawn zones can be created in the app and connected by virtual passageways.
This is convenient when the property has:
front and back lawns;
areas separated by paths;
several side lawns;
grass that grows at different rates;
several interconnected work zones.
Individual mowing schedules and other work parameters can be set for separate zones.
Virtual prohibited zonesYou can mark areas on the map that the robot should not enter:
flower beds;
ponds or pools;
children's play areas;
trampolines;
young trees;
outdoor furniture;
damaged lawn areas;
areas where temporary work is being carried out.
Virtual zones can be changed, moved, or deleted at any time without physical labor.
5-blade cutting systemThe "Genie 800" features a 20 cm wide cutting disc with five titanium-coated, freely moving blades. The disc can rotate at up to approximately 3000 rpm.
The five blades trim the grass tips frequently and evenly. During regular mowing, fine grass clippings remain on the lawn, decompose quickly, and serve as natural fertilizer.
The titanium coating helps increase the blade resistance to wear and corrosion.
Electric cutting height adjustmentCutting height is adjusted electronically via the app. The range is from 30 to 70 mm.
A lower setting is suitable for decorative and regularly maintained lawns. A higher cut is worth choosing:
during hot and dry weather;
during the first spring cuts;
for taller or thicker grass;
for uneven surfaces;
to protect the soil from drying out.
For overgrown lawns, it is recommended to start mowing at a higher height and reduce it gradually.
Edge mowingThe robot can perform a separate mowing task along the virtual lawn boundary.
The best result is achieved when the lawn and the adjacent hard surface – pavers, a path, or a terrace – are on the same level. In this case, the robot can partially overlap the edge and cut the grass closer to the border.
Near walls, fences, or high curbs, a narrow strip may remain, which will occasionally need trimming.
45% slope climbingLarge drive wheels and powerful motors allow the "Genie 800" to work on slopes of up to 45% or approx. 24°.
Actual climbing ability depends on soil moisture, grass height, slope shape, and surface firmness. On very wet or soft lawns, the wheels may slip.
4000 mAh batteryThe "ANTHBOT Genie 800" has a 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery designed for maintenance of up to 1500 m² lawns.
When the battery level drops, the robot automatically returns to the charging station. After charging, it resumes work from the point where it stopped.
Actual run time depends on grass height, slope, amount of obstacles, selected cutting height, and weather conditions.
4G connectivity and remote controlIntegrated 4G connectivity is used for "NetRTK" corrections and remote robot control.
With an active 4G plan, in the app you can:
start a mowing task;
pause or stop the robot;
set a work schedule;
monitor the robot's status;
receive important notifications;
control the robot when outside the home Wi-Fi range.
In the official list of compatible models, the "Genie 800" is indicated as a model supporting 4G services.
ANTHBOT appIn the app you can:
create and adjust the lawn map;
create up to 20 mowing zones;
mark prohibited areas;
set passageways;
adjust cutting height;
select mowing direction;
set a weekly schedule;
start or stop the robot;
return it to the charging station;
monitor work progress;
receive error and maintenance notifications;
install OTA software updates.
Rain sensor and IPX6 protectionThe integrated rain sensor allows the robot to detect when it starts raining and, depending on settings, return to the charging station.
The "Genie 800" has an IPX6 water resistance rating, making it suitable for outdoor conditions. The robot can be cleaned with water following the manufacturer's maintenance instructions, but the use of high-pressure cleaning equipment is not recommended.
Quiet operationThe robot's noise level is up to approx. 58 dB, making it significantly quieter than a standard gasoline lawn mower.
Quiet operation allows for more flexible mowing schedules and causes less disturbance to household members and neighbors.
